HANDLOOMED COTTON THROWS & BEDDING

where we started — machine-washable and built for everyday life

Rugged beauties by design. Woven on looms that move slow and steady, each piece begins with cotton dyed and prepared by hand, then worked into form by artisans who know the rhythm of it.

They are made to move—from journey to journey, from the beach to the bed, from one room to the next. Thrown over a shoulder, folded at the foot of a bed, carried out into the air and back again.

They are not delicate things. They are meant to be used—washed, worn in, and lived with. Over time they soften and take on the character of the places they’ve been.

HANDSTITCHED LEATHER

artisanal, patina-ready vegetable tanned leather

For the past few years, we’ve been working in a highly specialized leather workshop here in Paraguay. Using some of the finest leather South America is known for, we’ve produced hand-stitched pieces primarily for design and commercial projects.

We’re now beginning to make a small number of these pieces more widely available.

THE WORK BEHIND THE WORK.

Everything here is made in Paraguay, alongside a small circle of artisans and makers we have worked with for years.

Cotton dyed and woven by hand on old looms worked slow and steady through the day. Leather cut and stitched in small workshops. Clay turned, shaped, and fired in the heat. Metal worked and finished by hand. Embroidery carried forward one stitch at a time.

The work asks for patience. For steady hands. For people willing to remain with it.

These are not pieces made quickly or in great number. They come from workshops and family trades where the knowledge has been carried forward quietly over time.

Each purchase helps keep that work moving. As livelihood. As craft with a place still left for it in the world.
