Lapacho Cutting Board

A solid wood cutting board made from Lapacho, a dense South American hardwood valued for its weight, durability, and deep natural grain.

Substantial in the hand, the board has a quiet strength on the kitchen counter. The wood carries rich variation in tone, with a surface that feels grounded, enduring, and meant to be lived with.

Over time, the Lapacho will deepen with use, developing a patina that reflects the life of the kitchen.
Wash by hand with mild soap and warm water. Dry immediately with a clean towel and allow the board to fully air dry upright.

Do not soak, place in the dishwasher, or leave near direct heat. Lapacho is a dense, durable hardwood, but like all natural wood, it should be kept from prolonged moisture.

Condition as needed with a food-safe mineral oil or board wax to preserve the grain and keep the wood from drying out. With regular care, the board will deepen in tone and develop a natural patina over time.
