CRUZ LEATHER VESSEL 01
We wanted to transform something purely utilitarian into an object with the presence and material character of a finely made piece of furniture. The result is subtle but unmistakably different—quiet, sculptural, and intentionally difficult to categorize.
Each vessel begins with a stainless steel substrate, then is carefully wrapped, fitted, and hand-stitched in our leather workshop using fine Paraguayan, vegetable-tanned leather. The process is deliberate and slow, resulting in a piece that feels substantial, refined, and built to last.
Originally conceived to hold a large plant, the vessel was never intended to be limited to that use. It is an open, functional object designed to hold whatever a room asks of it—or nothing at all. Left empty, it remains a sculptural object in its own right.
Originally produced in small runs for design and commercial projects, these vessels are now released in limited quantities.
Over time, the leather softens and develops a rich patina, making each piece more distinctive with use.
